Professor Ricardo is a CCR registered DOD contractor for advanced Military CQB contact weapons tactic's and trains the trainer for Elite Special operation teams “and has directly contributed to mission capability and survivability “of green beret Special Forces teams giving them a cutting edge!Professor Ricardo is the founder and respected Grand Master 10th dan of Ekido Kai (The Way of Evolving Change Society) Kenpo Jujitsu. holds a 10th. lakan in ESCRIMA several 8th degree black belts, in various martial arts styles. Plus five 7th degree black belts certifications all signed by many of the greatest US Grand Masters of the 20th century. During his 35 years in martial arts he was a principle student and has been uke for Professors Remy Presas, Sig Kufferath, Rick Alemany, and Wally Jay. They are respectively; Grand master of the Philippine fighting arts, the highest ranked Ju Jitsu Grand master in the world, the Grand master of Kenpo karate, and the renown Grand master and innovator of Small Circle Ju Jitsu. Professor Ricardo is also the senior east coast representative for Shaolin Kenpo innovator, Great Grand master Ralph Castro's International Shaolin Kenpo Association, and Grand master Ernesto Presas', International Phillipino Martial Arts Federation where he shares with Grand master Rick Alemany one of the highest ranks for American in Kombatan (7th Lakan), and was partners with Senior Grand master of Kajukenbo Joe Halbuna and became the head of the Unified World Martial Arts Federation. .
Professor Ricardo is the sole Innovator and Founder of the P.A.T.R.O.L. Program (Professional Awareness Training and Range keeping Options for Law Enforcement) and the innovator of the Soft Shield Baton, a protective tool for Law Enforcement Officers. Professor Ricardo resides in Limerick, Maine where he has a school of "Ekido Kai", and P.A.T.R.O.L. He is a certified practitioner of Siefukujitsu the (Japanese art of self healing) and has worked with handicapped and troubled youth. Professor Ricardo is currently working with his friend and mentor, grand master Rick Alemany as they influence the renaissance of Kenpo Ju Jitsu.
Professor Ricardo has authored and produced videos on Ekido Kai Kenpo Jujitsu and also co-authored a video about Seifukujitsu, The Ancient Art of Self Healing, with the late Grand Master Sig Kufferath. He has written a book entitled "This Is Self Defense (Kenpo Jujitsu); The Essential Guide For The Conceptual Martial Artist". And is a world renown author at Amazon .com with videos on the hot topic of travel security.
